NCHU International Summer Course 2025

Course 7505: Chemical Process Simulation Using ASPEN Plus

July 2025 (Summer) at National Chung Hsing University (NCHU), Taiwan

This course is taught by Asst. Prof. Dr. Hong-ming Ku from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT) in Bangkok, Thailand. The aim of the course is to train chemical engineering students in the use of the chemical process simulator called ASPEN Plus (A+), which is a crucial engineering tool for process engineers. Many research thesis, industrial/internship projects, and capstone projects involve process simulation and modeling. Students will learn the fundamentals of process simulation and how to use A+ to simulate complex chemical processes.

Teaching Timetable:

Monday - Friday, July 21-25, 13:00 - 16:00: Lectures (15 hours)

Wednesday, July 30, 13:00 - 16:30: Exam (3.5 hours)
